Burnham Overy Staithe

  • One Stop Nature Shop – a destination outlet located in Burnham Deepdale, where people can find “all things” involved in nature observation. They provide weekly guided walks on the beautiful Norfolk Coast and Countryside
  • North Norfolk Paddle Boards – based at Burnham Overy Staithe just 4 miles along the coast path from Deepdale providing Paddle Board hire and guided tours along the North Norfolk coast
  • Delegate Market – located right in front of Deepdale Camping. A wonderful array of independent shops (including pop up shops that change on a weekly basis) a cafe, supermarket and the location for the Spring and Christmas markets
  • Deepdale Camping events – Markets, Festivals, 1940’s weekend, Sunday night music sessions, Cinema nights, pizza nights…..the list goes on at this fantastic campsite
  • Holme Dunes Norfolk Wildlife Centre – here you will find Norfolk’s northwest corner, where The Wash meets the North Sea, Holme Dunes is superbly located to attract migrating birds
  • Titchwell Marsh RSPB Visitor Centre – blessed with diverse habitats that include reedbeds, saltmarsh and freshwater lagoons where avocets, bearded tits and marsh harriers nest. There’s also a wide sandy beach here, which offers extensive views across The Wash

Heading onto Holkham beac

  • Coastal Exploration Company – They create fun, relaxing, sometimes challenging, but undoubtedly life-enriching adventures on traditional wooden sailing boats, based in Wells-next-the-Sea, on the beautiful North Norfolk coast
  • Wells and Walsingham Light Railway – Regular steam trains from the seaside town of Wells next the Sea to the beautiful village of Walsingham, with it’s famous Abbey and shrines. Sit back and enjoy the nostalgic and atmospheric sights, sounds and smells of steam travel
  • Rescue Wooden Boats – Passionate about conserving maritime heritage. They restore examples of working wooden boats, tell their stories – and those of the last generation of seafaring communities to use them – through film and photos right next to the campsite
  • Seal Trips – take a boat trip to the beautiful Blakeney Point to see the grey and common seals
  • Holkham – A stately home, farm, parkland and award winning nature reserve and beach. Events are held here throughout the year from music festivals to organised walks. The miles of sandy beach was voted BBC Countryfiles Best Beach in Britian this year (2018) so the secret is out now!
