Our first ever setting up of our tents for some lovely (& very brave) guests who agreed to trial them for us. Easter 2017!! The campsite at Stiffkey were incredibly kind giving us they’re prime pitches to set up on with amazing views over the saltmarshes BUT it was a Bank Holiday so I think it’s fair to say the weather wasn’t kind!! Our poor guests didn’t get a chance to sit & admire the view as the wind & rain was coming straight off the Marshes!! 😱💨☔️🏕 Hey ho!! The tents, us & our guests were certainly tested that weekend. Amazingly, the tents stayed up (every peg was used!!) and we all somehow managed to enjoy the weekend, phew!

Native Origin When I (James Bussey; Native Origin business owner) started to plan this project, there were already a few people in my mind that I wanted to interview. These people had already entered my life and inspired me with their passion, their belief and their approach to running their business. Gin Wilson-North was one of the very first people I met when I began networking over three years ago. We met at a Business Means Coffee event at the Holkham Studios in North Norfolk. The tent elf team!

  We are truly blessed this year to have a small but perfect team of enthusiastic and motivated tent elves. I’ve run a business before and know how attracting the right people to join your team is such an important element of your businesses success (or not!). MarGins holidays are based purely on logistics, providing essential equipment for our guests comfort and safety and thinking on your feet on a regular basis. We don’t work set hours and being a very small business, we really can’t afford to offer anyone full time employment.     We are delighted that David, a family friend, would like to support us again this year. His help last year was simply awesome and there were day’s I quite simply could not have coped without him……a storm on Happisburgh cliffs springs to mind!!
