A ‘Muddy Stilettos’ MarGins Adventure

We were absolutely delighted when Helen, the editor from Muddy Stilettos Norfolk and her partner, booked our Curlew Plus Walking Holiday in July. This year we were incredibly proud to make the finals of the Muddy Stilettos Awards in the Best Boutique Stay category, so it was an honour to welcome them both on a MarGins Adventure. I think it’s best if you click HERE to read all about their incredible journey for yourself. It literally gave me goosebumps when I read their review. Helen has managed to capture the absolute essence of our holidays and we couldn’t be more pleased with their account of a MarGins adventure on the beautiful Norfolk Coast……..   A few quotes from the review: “I love Norfolk and this is possibly the best way to see our diverse and beautiful coastline. I’ve visited many of the beaches en route but travelling by foot allows you to see some of the great […]

Walking the North Norfolk Coast Path – travel blog

This year we’ve seen an increase in solo travellers booking our walking holidays. We’re absolutely delighted that our guests feel well informed and most importantly safe and secure knowing that their logistics and accommodation are all taken care of whilst they fully immerse themselves in relaxing and enjoying their unique adventure on the beautiful Norfolk Coast. Read all about Amanda’s experience of her first long distance walking trail on our Curlew Holiday. Make a cuppa, sit down and immerse yourself in reading all about her beautiful adventure: Day 1 – Wide Open Skies  “It’s at this point that I should add that I have never done any long distance walking. At all. The beauty of MarGins is that they do all the hard work –minus the walking that is! They set up, take down and move on a fully equipped OZ Tent, along with your luggage. They do all the bookings and provide you with […]

At one with nature…

Picture this…….. You are standing in a hollow surrounded by woodland. As you slowly turn around all you can see is nature at it’s finest. Tall elegant trees swaying in a gentle breeze, wild flowers standing proud amongst a backdrop of nettles, ferns and other wild plants. As you look up all you can see is blue sky with a few whisps of fluffy clouds forming various shapes as they drift slowly overhead. Now cup your ears, the birdsong is magnificent, a personal orchestra of cheeps and chirps all in tune with nature………. Over to your right is your accommodation for the night, fully equipped tents all set up waiting for your arrival, inviting you in with open arms. To you left is a fire pit, all set up waiting to be lit later and ready to toast marshmallows as the sun starts to set……… In front of you are colourful mats, all laid out […]

I think it’s fair to say, I love walking. I’m not what you would call an experienced hiker, just a lover of getting out there and exploring the big outdoors and all it has to offer. Over the last few years it’s become a big part of my life for so many reasons: I walk because I can – after experiencing deteriorating mobility issues, I feared my love of walking was going to be severely compromised, but following some major surgery to restructure my pelvis, I’ve gone from strength to strength and ‘bagged’ The Hadrian’s Wall National Trail in 2016 I walk because it helps […]
